Essenza

Essenza is a premium select-grade European Oak engineered hardwood in a distinctive large-square parquet format (31.5″×31.5″×5/8″), one of the most architecturally interesting flooring options in Woodcraft Flooring NY’s Signature Collection. The brushed-and-smoked surface treatment deepens the natural oak grain and adds a rich, aged character that is highly sought after for luxury boutique hotels, designer loft conversions, and high-end co-op renovations throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Square parquet-style flooring has made a significant comeback in contemporary NYC interior design, particularly in pre-war apartment restorations and new-construction luxury developments seeking to blend old-world craftsmanship with modern performance standards. Essenza delivers exactly that in an engineered format that resists NYC humidity swings and installs cleanly across concrete and plywood subfloors via nail, staple, glue, or float. The 4mm European Oak wear layer is fully refinishable and rated for both residential and commercial use.
